Scout Troop Adventures

Shared Core Values – Empower the Mind, Body, and Character of Young People. The Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America are two of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations, providing programming for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness. Scouting also provides youth with an opportunity to try new things, provide services to others, build self-confidence, and reinforce ethical standards. Simply put, scouting is a movement dedicated to bringing the best out in people!

For over 100 years, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America have provided national services designed to train future leaders for positive change. The benefits of teaching leadership to our youths are immeasurable! From confidence building to self-coaching to leading others; by teaching youths to lead, we are giving them (1) the confidence to stand up and express their opinions, (2) the ability to recognize right from wrong, (3) the courage to help those who can’t help themselves, and (4) the tools to fulfill their potential.

EMPOWER has a track record for teaching positive leadership and team skills through experiential adventure activities. The EMPOWER Leadership & Adventure Team can support the mission of the Scouts by providing troops with exciting, memorable, and beneficial adventure experiences – facilitated by professionally trained guides – leading to a High Reward – Low Risk adventure environment fostering a “learn to lead” mentality with your scouts!
